Our new 5-day format means you’ll spend  only part of each day in the shop, leaving you free the rest of the time to make the most of your time here in Maine:

• Get a little work done if needed.
• Check out the local surf breaks (just two blocks away!).
• Explore York’s beaches, trails, and charming town.
• Visit the restaurants, museums, and attractions in nearby Portsmouth NH or Portland Maine. 

Camp Grain is about making memories while building something you’ll cherish. Enjoy the creative process, meet new friends, and explore everything the Seacoast has to offer. Bring a friend to enjoy the area with and they can help you build your board ($500 tuition for a helper). 

• Day 1

4 Hours: Prep your planks, glue down the frame and add internal blocking

• Day 2

4 Hours: Cleanup the perimeter and add cork rails

• Day 3

6 Hours: Prep board for top planks and glue them down. 

• Day 4

4 Hours: Rough shape your boards rails by blending the deck and bottom planks into the cork rails

• Day 5

4 Hours:  Sand and personalize your board, prep it for glassing

• All materials for your board (20+ models to choose from).
• Expert instruction and full use of our shop and tools.
• Access to our quiver of boards and loaner wetsuits
• Free time to enjoy the area’s beaches, restaurants, and more.

Note: Glassing is not included but can be added for an additional charge. Shipping and glassing materials for home are also available.
